The first line of defense that Utility Owners and/or Operators have from the danger of costly damages to their underground facilities is the efforts of the markings of their underground system.
ECSM offers experienced, professional locaters who understand the importance of Utility Facility protection from the threat of danger that excavation presents.
ECSM has the know how of receiving transmitted requests for excavation and dispatching reliable locators to effectively protect the underground facilities. We then send a timely positive response to the excavator letting them know if there are marks to be aware of or if the facility is clear of their work site. We respond in an expedient manner to emergency requests so that the facilities are protected properly.
ECSM understands the rules and regulations that govern proper excavation procedures and we are dedicated to being an extension of the facility owner/operator personnel in their concerns and efforts of preventing damages and protecting underground facilities from danger.
ECSM currently operates locating services primarily out of the New York City and Syracuse, NY offices. We locate throughout the greater New York area from the Hamptons on Long Island in the East to Niagara Falls in the West, from Clymer in the South to Champlain in the North.
ECSM has a good working relationship with many utility companies serving the northeastern United States. ECSM is the first line of defense against damage to underground facilities, offering our customers protection from the costs of repairing and/or replacing valuable assets.
